Well, I just don’t know what happened at my nephew’s “shaken baby syndrome” trial. He’s black; it was supposed to be a fair trial. He had an all white jury, but that shouldn’t matter, right?? In fact he was the only black in the courtroom, but that shouldn’t matter, right?? There weren’t any eye witnesses to the crime, but that shouldn’t matter, right?? But wait... there was one other person that could of committed this crime (the mother), but she was white, so they believed her, but that shouldn’t matter, right?? But wait... there was a third person that was there at the time that could of committed this crime, but (he was white) so he was automatically eliminated. Why did they accuse my nephew out of the three people that could have committed this crime?? Well, let’s see… the history in Massachusetts tells us that if you're black, and have been accused of a crime against a white person, you might as well kiss your black ass goodbye, because you are as guilty as you are black. Don’t let them fool ya; you are guilty in this state until proven innocent my friend. I would like someone out there to prove me wrong!! Start digging. If there aren’t any eyewitnesses to your crime, no DNA, no stories that are different from the one you told. Then human nature or bias kicks in. in other words “we have no way as far as evidence to prove that you did it, but your black so you probably did” that’s what happen to my nephew. He had as much of a chance as a snowball in hell. You always hear about a black man in this state spending years in jail for something he didn’t do, and now another one bites the dust. What’s up with that??

FAIR TRIAL???
I have a nephew that’s in court as I speak. He’s been brought up on “shaken baby syndrome” charges. By me being his uncle, yes I’m going to believe that he wouldn’t hurt a defenseless 2yr old. We tend to hate, “child abusers" and, I believe if he did do this horrible crime he should be punished. I have been to court each and every day and as I sit there looking around the courtroom I see an all-white jury that’s going to render a verdict ,prosecutors white, his public defender Is white and most of the spectators are white ,except for me and my family. The defendant is a black man with a petty criminal record, such as, getting caught with a nickel bag of weed. Parking tickets, nothing really bad. The victim is a 2yr old white girl whose mother is involved with my nephew; in fact they were living together in a town that’s predominately white when this crime took place. With everything I just stated I believe, (and the history of Massachusetts shows us) that my nephew facing an all white jury in a mostly all white town, with the alleged victim being white, Will not get a fair trial. In fact correct me if I’m wrong a black man has never been found "not guilty "of a crime against a white person in this state of Massachusetts.
I want to hear your comments and opinions on this.

I would like to take this time to welcome you to my blog. This is my first time at this. The forum will be about observations that I have made from newspaper accounts, TV news, and my opinion about the way certain situations are handled when you are black, white, etc...Also the difference between blacks and whites caught up in the justice system will be brought to your attention.
